Roofs. Hail bruises and cracks shingles, knocks granules loose, and dents vents and flashing. Wind lifts and creases shingles or tears them off. We repair small areas when the rest of the roof is sound and replace the roof when the damage is spread across the slopes.
Siding, trim, gutters, soffit and fascia. Hail cracks and punctures vinyl siding and dents aluminum trim and gutters. Wind pulls siding panels, soffit and fascia loose. We replace the damaged pieces and match the existing materials as closely as we can.
Windows and doors. Broken glass, dented frames, torn screens and damaged storm doors. We repair what can be repaired and replace units that can't.
Fallen trees. Once a tree service has the tree off the house, we rebuild what it hit, including roof framing, decking, walls and exterior finishes. When framing is broken, we coordinate with a structural engineer on the repair design.
Water intrusion. Storm damage that lets water in shows up later as ceiling stains, wet insulation and soft roof decking. We open up the affected area, dry it out and repair it.
If it just happened. Call us. Stay clear of downed power lines and report them to your utility. If a tree is on the house, stay out of the rooms under it. Don't climb onto a damaged or wet roof. Photograph the damage from the ground, including hail on the lawn and dents on gutters and vehicles, and write down the date of the storm.
